Where were you when you accepted your role at Christie Finance? 

Millbrook Business Finance.

What was your first job? 

My first jobs were hands-on roles working as a labourer and landscape gardener, which taught me the value of hard work, resilience and teamwork from a young age.

In a couple of sentences, can you tell us a bit about your job at Christie Finance? 

I help businesses secure funding to support growth, investment and new opportunities. Whether it's working capital, cash flow support or asset finance, I work closely with clients to find solutions that help them achieve their goals.

What’s your favourite thing about Christie Finance? 

The autonomy, professionalism and supportive culture. There's a genuine focus on doing the right thing for clients while giving people the freedom to excel in their roles.

What's a favourite project that you’ve worked on at Christie Finance so far? 

One project that stands out involved helping a pub operator understand the funding options available to scale their business. I enjoyed exploring different growth opportunities with them and helping them understand what was possible and how to access the right funding.

What’s been the biggest challenge of your career so far? 

Staying focused on my goals and believing in myself despite people who doubted my abilities or tried to undermine my confidence. Learning to block out the noise and trust the process has been one of the most valuable lessons of my career.

What’s been a highlight of your career so far? 

Billing £180,000 in commission in my first year as a broker. It was a milestone that demonstrated what can be achieved through hard work, consistency and determination.

Tell us a bit about your life outside work – what are your hobbies? 

Outside of work, I enjoy Thai boxing, running, mountaineering and playing the piano. I also love singing, spending time with my dog Dazey, and giving back to the community through my role as a trustee and volunteer at the Doddridge Centre in Northamptonshire.

What’s your hometown? Where do you live now? 

I'm originally from Higham Ferrers in Northamptonshire and now live in Colliers Wood, London.

Where’s the best place you’ve been on holiday? 

Croatia. The scenery, coastline and culture make it one of the most memorable places I've visited.

What’s your biggest pet peeve? 

People who complain about situations in their life and don’t want to change bad habits or improve.

What would be your desert island meal? 

A perfectly cooked steak.

What’s your favourite film? 

Good Will Hunting. I find its themes of self-belief, personal growth and reaching your potential particularly inspiring.

What is one thing on your bucket list? 

Owning a castle. It might be ambitious, but I think it's a goal worth aiming for!
