Experienced operators acquire high turnover Gloucestershire-based convenience store

Specialist finance broker, Christie Finance, has supported experienced operators, Mr Subramaniam Sooriyakumar and Mr Suman Chandran, to acquire a freehold Londis-branded convenience store in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire.

Hewlett Stores

Hewlett Stores is a well established businesses that offers an ideal platform for an owner or regional operator to build upon its excellent trading position. The Londis-branded convenience store has been acquired by two experienced operators who plan to conduct a refit in order to modernise the store.

Jimmy Johns, Director at Christie Finance, brokered a deal for Mr Subramaniam Sooriyakumar and Mr Suman Chandran and comments, "Despite this being a challenging and protracted transaction from a sales perspective, we were able to get funding agreed and maintain this agreement throughout the process – a great example of team work between Christie Finance and Christie & Co."
