Bryn Gelli Service Station brought by experienced retailer

Specialist commercial finance broker, Christie Finance has successfully brokered funding for a change in ownership at Bryn Gelli Service Station, Llanelli, South Wales.

The Service Station and Post Office has been in operation since 2000 after undergoing a full refurbishment under the previous owners. The business benefits from a strong customer base with it being in close proximity to several schools and Llanelli Scarlets Rugby Stadium.

The previous owners sold the property through specialist property adviser, Christie & Co with Gary Boyce, Associate Director of Christie Finance, helping new owner Mr Vijay Jaganathan with the funding to acquire the business.

A returning client to Christie Finance, Mr Jaganathan identified Bryn Gelli as a great opportunity to develop further by rebranding and improving store layout and external signage. An experienced retailer, Vijay currently runs three forecourt businesses across South Wales for Motor Fuel Group (MFG).

Gary Boyce commenting on the deal said, "I was delighted to help Vijay again with funding to acquire his latest forecourt interest. It’s always great to assist a returning client of Christie Finance and hear how the funding we arranged has helped with his business aspirations. Working alongside our Christie & Co colleagues we were able to successfully iron out challenges arising during the purchase process. With Vijay now in situ, wish him every success with growing trade at Bryn Gelli Service Station.

We have aided a number of buyers both experienced operators and first-time buyers across Wales and continue to secure great finance rates and terms for acquisition and re-finance purposes."
