Funding secured for Locum Pharmacist’s first pharmacy acquisition in County Durham

Located within a GP surgery building in the Moorside area, the pharmacy dispenses approximately 3,200 NHS items per month and provides a solid foundation for service-led growth. Formerly owned by Rachel Hurst since 1995, the business was brought to market to allow the vendor to focus on her higher-volume pharmacy operations in Consett and Crook.

The buyer, Monju Miah, is a highly experienced locum Pharmacist making his first move into pharmacy ownership. Christie Finance worked closely with Monju to secure a bespoke funding package that enabled him to take this next step in his career and support his plans to grow the pharmacy’s service offering.
