First-time buyer secures Blakelaw Pharmacy with funding from Christie Finance

Christie Finance is pleased to have supported the acquisition of Blakelaw Pharmacy in Newcastle by first-time buyer, Aaron Musgrove, through the successful arrangement of a tailored funding package.

Blakelaw Pharmacy is a high-performing community pharmacy, dispensing around 15,000 NHS items per month from approximately 20 surgeries in the local area, despite strong nearby competition. It is based in a council-owned unit within a popular shopping precinct and has served the community under the ownership of Gary Morrow since 2002. Gary decided to sell the business in order to retire.

Funding was sourced by Craig Dickson, Director at Christie Finance, who worked closely with Aaron throughout the acquisition process. Aaron, an experienced pharmacy manager from Newcastle, has now stepped into ownership for the first time.

The sale was completed for an undisclosed sum.
