The hotel has been purchased by husband-and-wife duo, Helen Walker-Lane and Michael Lane. They are highly experienced business owners who bring valuable entrepreneurial experience having previously developed several businesses and establishing one of the largest software development companies in Canada.
Helen and Michael are now seeking to further develop the hotel and grounds, building on the success that the departing owners, Nick and Tara left, who are in turn planning to focus on their other hospitality business.
The acquiring pair will be involved in the day to day running of the business and plan to expand the accommodation with the possibility of implementing ‘glamourous glamping’ pods and more lakeside treehouses.
