A better deal for Hatton Service Station

The owner of Hatton Service Station in South Derbyshire, was recently assisted with a refinance package to move away from a high interest bridging lender, whilst simultaneously releasing equity to complete a refurbishment project at the site.

Stuart Pawelczyk, Associate Director at Christie Finance, who is currently working on a number of forecourt funding deals across the Midlands, was able to secure the owner, Mr Ul-Haq, a competitive refinance package.

The client will not only benefit from lower monthly repayments, but now also has access to the extra funds for the business to undergo a refurbishment project, which will provide a further boost to trade.

Commenting on the deal, Stuart said, “I’m delighted to have assisted our client with refinancing his forecourt. Whilst not entirely a straightforward proposal, we were able to present the deal to an appropriate audience, structured the right way, which resulted in a highly competitive deal being obtained from the market. In turn has enabled our client to refinance and fulfil their ambitions of refurbishing the site.”
