Business partners purchase the goodwill of two dental practices in Nottinghamshire

Business partners Nafees Ud Din and Muhammad Rashid, have purchased the goodwill of two established dental practices based in Nottinghamshire with competitive funding secured by specialist commercial finance broker, Christie Finance.

The New Ollerton Hall & Purchase Dental Practice is the only practice located within the village of New Ollerton, with its closest competitor being its sister practice Warsop Dental. New Ollerton Dental Practice is a two storey, end of terrace Victorian building operating as a four-surgery practice that is long established within the community having been under the same ownership for over 30 years.

Warsop Dental is a single storey, detached property dating from the 1960s. Similar to its counterpart, it operates as a four-surgery practice and is well established within the community. Both surgeries largely serve local residents with almost 100% of income derived from the NHS.

Nafees graduated in 1995 and spent ten years working in general dentistry in Pakistan before moving back to the UK. He worked as a research associate for several years at both Bangor and Cardiff Universities whilst undertaking various orthodontic positions abroad.

Muhammad qualified in 2000 and proceeded to run his own practice in Pakistan from 2002 to 2005 before moving to England, where he worked as a practice manager for a dental group in Northampton. He has worked in three dental practices as an associate before buying his own practice. Two principals, one from each practice will be staying in role for continuity purposes. Our clients plan to grow both businesses through expanding into the private sector.

David Ward, Senior Director at Christie Finance, worked with the new buyers. He comments “The Hall & Purchase Dental Practices are established businesses with a tremendous reputation within the local community. It has been a fantastic opportunity for me to secure competitive funding for the purchase of not one but, two dental practices. I wish Nafees and Muhammad the very best in operating their new practices”.
