St Brides Pharmacy purchase funded through Christie Finance

Christie Finance, the specialist commercial mortgage broker, has recently arranged funding for Mr Nikesh Patel to purchase St Brides Pharmacy in South Glamorgan, Wales.

Nikesh is a highly experienced pharmacist and will use this experience to further develop St Brides Pharmacy as a vital hub for the local community.

Owned for over 8 years as part of a larger group and being run under locum management, St Brides was identified by Nikesh as a great opportunity to change to an owner operator model, as well as having options for enhancing the range of services provided.

Being sold through Christie & Co, Christie Finance Managing Director, Nick Baker, approached Nikesh to help guide and arrange the specialist funding needed to secure the business.

Commenting on the deal, Nick said “We are delighted to secure our client the funding needed to purchase his first pharmacy business. The sector is growing more competitive by the day, with many experienced pharmacists looking for their first business and existing operators looking to expand their portfolio.

“That’s why it’s more important than ever to discuss your funding options with an independent broker such as ourselves, so when these businesses come onto the market you have the assurances of being able to bid with confidence knowing that competitive finance options are available to you.”

New owner Nikesh said, "Christie Finance helped me source a fantastic rate for my loan borrowing.  Nick was contactable anytime, even 10pm at night when I needed to ask questions. They took a lot of the headache away for me, liaising with relevant parties to ensure all aspects of finance were dealt with quickly and efficiently.  Would highly recommend Christie Finance for their service"
