The Pheasant Inn bought by returning professional to the sector

The Pheasant Inn, an established pub and restaurant in Dunstable, Bedfordshire has been acquired by a new owner, Darren Pugh in a sale funded through specialist commercial finance broker, Christie Finance.



The Inn, which comprises of a pub and restaurant with letting rooms benefits from a good local following and has popular repeat business for its bed and breakfast offering. The previous owners had operated the business for over 13 years before deciding to sell the business through Tim Widdows at Christie & Co.

Darren who has 10 years hospitality experience working in both pubs and hotels was seeking to re-enter the sector as an owner-operator and found The Pheasant Inn the perfect business for him to purchase.

John Mitchell, Director at Christie Finance brokered the funding needed for Darren to purchase the business. He comments, "The Pheasant Inn is the perfect base for Darren to rejoin the sector and his combination of business and hospitality experience will be a benefit for the business.
