The Willows - Coventry 

Christie Finance supported care operator Maple Group Limited to successfully purchase The Willows care home, a residential home providing care for the elderly with dementia. 

The reputable home has been operating under the same ownership for the past 30 years, now forming part of a regional group. With 32 single bedrooms, the home has consistently high occupancy rates and enjoys a ‘Good’ CQC rating; all of which the new owners are determined to maintain.

St Vincents - Ryde 

Brian Love, Finance Consultant at Christie Finance supported experienced care provider, Diane Radcliffe to purchase the freehold of St Vincents care home in Ryde, a residential home caring for Armed Forces veterans and their spouses over the age of 60. 

Set within its own spacious grounds, the award-winning care home is registered for 25 residents, including 25 single rooms all equipped with en suites. There are two large lounge areas for residents to entertain guests, dining areas and expansive landscaped gardens. 

Diane Radcliffe, is a highly experienced private care home operator, currently running the largest private care provider company on the Isle of Wight. Diane has been the director of Wight Home Care since it was first established in 1992. Diane recognised St Vincents as an excellent opportunity to expand her already well-established care business.

Glenthorne House - Bilston 

Specialist commercial finance broker, Christie Finance has secured funding for Glenthorne Care Services Ltd in the purchase of Glenthorne House, a residential care home in Bilston, West Midlands.

Glenthorne House, a converted doctor's surgery, is registered with the CQC for 27 residents offering specialist residential, dementia and respite care.

First time entrants to the care sector, Gurd & Simmi Sandhar of Glenthorne Care Services Ltd have a wealth of transferable skills, demonstrated by the strength of their extensive business experience in other sectors. They comment, "The whole experience was quite daunting for us, however, Stuart supported us every step of the way. Experienced care home operator - Kent 

An experienced care home operator based in Kent has worked with specialist commercial finance broker, Christie Finance to successfully refinance and develop their portfolio of established care homes.

Our client approached Christie Finance after their incumbent lender would not facilitate them in developing their business. Brian Love, Finance Consultant at Christie Finance quickly established the needs of his client to assist in financing the restructure of their current operations.

Our client has over 12 years’ experience as a specialist care home operator, currently owning and operating three care homes in the South East of England. Between 1997-2006, they worked in various tax advisor and VAT manager roles before purchasing their first home in 2006.
