The Role

 

The purpose of the role is to generate new qualified business opportunities from both existing and new clients relating to all forms of commercial finance. manner. The ongoing goal is to support, train and develop successful individuals to progress to the position of Finance Consultant.


Responsibilities

In this role you will:


  • Completing effective research using the CRM systems and external information to prepare for prospect calls
  • Making a high volume of effective outbound calls per day
  • Building a pipeline of potential business, ensuring this is targeted on a daily basis
  • Use excellent sales techniques to gain interest and recognise buying signals
  • Update the CRM and diarising call backs
  • Communicating with clients via email and telephone
  • Communicating with finance consultants across the team to target specific clients following initial fact find and qualification
  • Keep up to date with industry knowledge or changes to enable the identification of appropriate solutions for customers
  • Leverage the Christie & Co database of registered business purchasers and existing operators to develop business opportunities
  • Foster working relationships with Christie & Co colleagues to maximise referral opportunities and reciprocal business
  • Have a relationship-led mentality and maintain ongoing contact with prospective clients (both internal and external) to ensure Christie Finance is foremost in their minds for any business finance opportunity and ensure an exceptional client experience.
  • Operate in line with FCA Guidelines, internal company policies & best practice
