The care home itself occupies a prominent position in Mountain Ash and is arranged in a detached Victorian property offering a homely environment for 11 elderly clients.
Since his purchase in 2018, Dr Bhaduri utilised the Christie network further by working with our Unsecured team to develop the site. This relationship has continued to grow with the team helping Dr Bhaduri on two further occasions this year, helping to continually improve the home.
Dr Bhaduri commented, “Since completing on the initial purchase, I have worked with Shaun Watts from Christie Finance with whom I have now completed three separate funding projects, including unsecured loans and asset finance, each enabling me to make desired improvements to the site. The funding received has increased trading characteristics of the home to operate at 100% occupancy whilst also, and more importantly in my eyes, developing the site making guests and their visitors feel comfortable. The most recent project I worked on with Shaun was converting the external garage building into additional rooms with a plan to further increase occupancy.
The value of Christie Finance’s input into this transaction is immeasurable and without them I think it unlikely I
would have been able to realise my dream of owning my own care home.”
