David has been arranging intelligent financial solutions on behalf of a variety of clients for many years. He started his career in accountancy before moving to Christie Finance in 2000. He was fundamental in the development of Christie Finance as the leading business mortgage broker in Scotland. Having previously covered our Edinburgh, Newcastle and Manchester offices, David now heads up our UK mortgage operation.

As a Director of Christie Finance with many years’ experience in the commercial finance markets, David’s advisory services are widely sought-after by first-time buyers and existing business operators alike, for business purchase, expansion or re-finance.

David joined Christie Finance in 2001 and quickly established the Birmingham office as the top specialist commercial finance brokerage in the Midlands. His sphere of influence now extends to include our Milton Keynes office.

As a professionally qualified banker with many years of experience from his time at Barclays plc., David has a highly developed understanding of the complexities of businesses from corner stores to multi-unit group transactions. Reflecting the experience and valued added he brings to Christie Finance and of course to his clients, David was made a Director at Christie Finance in 2007.

After graduating from the University of Gloucestershire with a degree in Business Management, Owen located to London where he experienced London’s buoyant residential market working for a leading estate agent.
 
In 2006, he moved his attention to finance. With an initial exposure to Investment Banking, Owen moved to SPF Private Clients (formerly Savills Private Finance) as an Associate within the International Mortgage Broking Tea. He established a strong network of contacts within retail and private banks, assisting clients in achieving the most competitive financial solutions available.
 
Owen is CeMAP qualified and joined the Bristol Office of Christie Finance at the start of 2012. He is aiming to use his broking experience to help develop the business mortgage market, whilst streamlining the relationship between Christie Finance and his Christie + Co colleagues.

Chris has over 15 years experience of banking and finance in London and The City. At Christie Finance, he has been providing his clients with intelligent financial solutions across our specialist market sectors, whether sole traders or multi-unit corporate operators. His expertise and success in our London and Enfield offices was duly recognized in 2010, when Chris was made a Director at Christie Finance.

Oliver graduated with an honours degree from Plymouth University and spent the first six years of his professional career in the pharmaceutical industry. To further his financial market know-how, Oliver joined Christie Finance in 2003 and established our Exeter office as the leading specialist commercial mortgage consultancy in the South-West. His wealth of specialist knowledge in our sectors has enabled him to assist many new clients and existing operators alike.

Craig brings a huge amount of deal-making experience to the Christie Finance team in Scotland. Having spent a substantial proportion of his career to date in business development roles within the Specialist Property Finance division of Bank of Scotland and more latterly, at Barclays Commercial, Craig knows what makes a deal work in the current market.

Well known in the Scottish market, Craig’s clients also benefit from his wide range of professional contacts.

After graduating from Canterbury Christ Church University with a degree in History, Sophie returned to Ipswich where she experienced the turbulent fuel market working within sales for a leading Fuelcard brand. 

She is looking forward to completing her training and making her mark by providing an excellent service to our clients.

Further to cutting his teeth in the Corporate and Business Banking divisions of Bank of Scotland, Paul broadened his knowledge of our key markets in both the private and public sectors with Barclays Bank and with Yorkshire Forward. This valuable business banking experience means Paul is ideally placed to assist clients with their business aspirations, whether for business purchase, expansion or refinance.

Chris has over 15 years experience of banking and finance in London and The City. At Christie Finance, he has been providing his clients with intelligent financial solutions across our specialist market sectors, whether sole traders or multi-unit corporate operators. His expertise and success in our London and Enfield offices was duly recognized in 2010, when Chris was made a Director at Christie Finance.

Throughout his career, John has specialised in arranging commercial property finance across the retail, leisure and healthcare sectors.

After reading Economics at Leicester University, John joined Christie Finance in 1998 and spent 8 years securing finance for business owners and investors throughout the UK. This gave him considerable exposure to a variety of commercial property transactions, enabling him to establish valuable banking relationships, which ensured the most competitive deals were always negotiated for his clients.

John rejoined Christie Finance in 2011 and continues to provide intelligent funding solutions.

Philip began his career in financial services 11 years ago and qualified as a Financial Adviser with Winterthur Credit Suisse in 1998. After moving to National Mutual and GE Life specialising in pensions, he then joined a national firm of mortgage and general insurance brokers as Head of Compliance in 2003.

Philip joined Christie Corporate Finance/Christie Finance/Christie Insurance in 2008 and heads the compliance department. Philip is a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute, Personal Finance Society and the Securities and Investment Institute.
