New recruits strengthen Christie Finance’s sister company
Christie Insurance, which along with Christie Finance is a member of Christie Group, has further strengthened its specialist team of brokers and consultants with the appointment of six new recruits.
Walter Murray, who has over 20 year’s experience as a broker, has been appointed Director of Insurance Broking. Walter previously worked for Frank Glennon, HSBC, the Major Accounts Group at Heath Lambert, and more recently was manager of a large branch of Layton Blackham. He has a Dip CII and is an Associate of the Institute of Arbitrators.
Philip Roberts joins the company in the new role of Head of Compliance for Christie Insurance, Christie Corporate Finance and Christie Finance, which has been created to reflect the need to maintain high standards of compliance as these businesses grow. He holds a wide range of financial services qualifications and has over 10 years experience in the industry. He joins Christie Group after more than 4 years working as the Compliance Manager for Diamond Lifestyle Holdings plc.
Paul Redmond, who has almost 18 years financial services experience, has joined Christie Insurance as their Life and Protection Consultant. After initially working with two major high street banks in a variety of roles Paul qualified as a Financial Adviser in 2002 gaining his CeFA and CeMAP qualifications. More recently Paul worked for an independent brokerage and then became self employed specialising in mortgages and protection.
Steve Hibbert joins Christie Insurance as a Development Executive after 10 years at AON where he held a lead role in their sales and servicing team. Prior to AON Steve had some 20 years broking experience with regional and national brokers. He achieved his ACII qualification in 1980.
Joe Gooden has been working within the insurance industry for over 7 years and also joins Christie Insurance as a Development Executive. Initially working on Personal Lines business, he expanded his knowledge and experience into the commercial sector in the City, brokering general insurance for property owners, hotels and retail clients.
Stephen Lee joins the company as a Senior Account Executive from
Windsor Insurance Brokers where he was an Account Executive for
over 17 years. Before joining the insurance industry Stephen was
awarded a B.Sc (Hons) in Economics from the London School of
Economics. He was awarded his ACII qualification in 2001.
Sue Dougal, Managing Director of Christie Insurance, said: “We have targeted depth of experience to strengthen our knowledge and expertise in our specialist sectors.
