An established petrol forecourt and garage in the Staffordshire village of Fazeley is sold
An established petrol forecourt and garage, situated in the heart of the expanding village of Fazeley, which is located approximately one mile south of Tamworth in Staffordshire, has been sold through the Birmingham Office of leading business agents, Christie + Co. Independent mortgage brokers, Christie Finance, arranged the funding for the purchaser.
Fazeley Car Centre occupies a prominent position on the B5404 Lichfield Street and the A4091 Fazeley Road and benefits from established repeat business from the local community, supplemented by passing trade.
Occupying a 0.288 acre site, the business comprises a four-island forecourt, with a two-storey building housing the forecourt shop, customer facilities and an enclosed glass fronted car showroom. There is also a three-bay MOT centre with additional gated access to the main road and first floor accommodation arranged over four rooms, which is currently used as additional office and storage facilities.
Matthew Grace, from Christie + Co’s Birmingham Office, who handled the sale, commented; “We were appointed to sell Fazeley Car Centre by Alan Middleton, after 26 years in his ownership, by means of share transfer, as he wants to take retirement. Following a short marketing campaign, we received two offers at the asking price and subsequently sought best and final offers.”
Fazeley Car Centre was sold for an undisclosed sum from an asking price of £295,000 for the leasehold interest.
