A family run guest house in Felixstowe is sold to first time buyers from Kent
Dorincourt Guest House, which occupies a prominent position on Undercliff Road West on the seafront at Felixstowe in Suffolk, has been sold to a couple from Kent.
The funding for the purchase was arranged by independent mortgage brokers, Christie Finance and the sale was handled by leading business agents, Christie + Co, via the Ipswich Office.
The guest house comprises nine letting bedrooms, a one-bedroom holiday flat and a conservatory dining room, with a patio area to the front of the property, which could provide outdoor seating. The owner’s accommodation is located at ground floor level and provides a large double bedroom, with a corner shower and a lounge.
The business was sold on behalf of Mr and Mrs Chambers, who had owned it since early 2005 and are now retiring. The purchasers, Clive and Linda Kitney, are first time buyers from Rainham in Kent and are planning to run the business as a family operation and extend the opening hours of the restaurant and the food operation.

Offers in excess of £399,000 were sought for the freehold interest of Dorincourt Guest House and it was sold for an undisclosed sum. Mark Page from Christie + Co handled the sale on behalf of the vendors.
