Christie Finance assists with the expansion of West Midlands-based Raglan Healthcare
The Birmingham Office of independent mortgage brokers, Christie Finance, has assisted Jag Khatkar in the expansion of his care group, Raglan Healthcare, by providing the funding for the purchase of a further two care units in the West Midlands.
Raglan Healthcare already owns Raglan House Nursing Home in Smethwick, which was the first private purpose-built nursing home in the region.
The group has now moved onto the next stage of its development plans with the purchase of a development site in Bartley Green, which will provide 70 beds and Woodgreen Care Home on Wood Green Road in Wednesbury, which is currently registered for 40 elderly clients. Both Woodgreen and Raglan House have planning for further development.
David Ward, from Christie Finance, commented; “We were instrumental in introducing Mr Khatkar to a bank that could see the quality of the clients and the potential for the group, as well as being able to offer the best terms in the market. The group is actively seeking new sites for further new-build developments.”
