The leasehold of Croesyceiliog’s Corner Shop has been sold
A well located convenience store in Croesyceiliog, Cwmbran, has changed hands through the Bristol Office of leading business agents, Christie + Co, with independent mortgage brokers, Christie Finance, providing the funding for the deal.
The Corner Shop occupies the ground floor of a council owned unit and is a well fitted shop, benefiting from a large central grocery gantry, newspaper and magazine display racks, serving counter, cigarette gantry, display units and various freezers and chillers. There is also a kitchen area for the preparation of baguettes, with staff facilities and a stockroom to the rear.
Jonathan Board, from Christie + Co’s Bristol Office, who handled the sale, commented; “The business had been successfully run since 1993 by the vendors, Roy and Catherine Bartle, but has now been sold to Mr Jatinderpal Bajaw, who is an experienced operator, as he has owned a number of businesses throughout the years.”
Evan Morgan, from Christie Finance, commented; “We were delighted to assist Mr Bajaw with his funding requirements and have a secured a preferential package for him. I have no doubt that he will make a huge success of this business.”
The Corner Shop was sold for an undisclosed sum from an asking price of £145,000 + SAV for the leasehold interest.
