Christie Finance assists a husband and wife team to re-finance their care group
The Birmingham Office of independent mortgage brokers, Christie Finance, has assisted husband and wife team, Robert and Gina Parker, to re-finance their care group, The Mount House Limited, which in based in Shropshire and has a total of 278 rooms.
The group was set up in 1986, with the purchase of Mount House, in Shrewsbury, which was later extended to include Seven View, a nursing unit. Further acquisitions include; Field House in Church Stretton, Shropshire, Hilderstone Hall in Stone, Staffordshire, Caldy Manor in Caldy, Wirral, Merseyside, Brookfield Care Home in Lymm, Cheshire and Marple Dale Hall in Marple, Stockport.
Each home has undergone a programme of improvement and modernisation, with the provision of en suite showers where possible, which is now almost complete across the portfolio. The group’s head office is situated in Welshpool.

In looking for new bankers, it was essential that our clients were introduced to a bank which could tailor a package to suit them, whilst allowing them the flexibility to develop their business in various directions over the longer term.”
