Christie Finance arrange the funding for a guest house purchase in Warwick, on behalf of a brother and sister team
A brother and sister, who have been involved in the running of their own family’s guest house, have recently purchased the AA 3 Diamond seven-bedroom Austin House, which is located in the historic town of Warwick.
The funding for the purchase was arranged by Christie Finance via the Birmingham Office.
The guest house comprises a late Victorian semi-detached three-storey property, which is well presented and boasts various features, such as high ceilings and large windows. Trading as a traditional bed and breakfast, the property comprises an eight-cover dining room, a lounge, a catering kitchen and a conservatory, with a separate owner’s suite, which can be approached from an internal stairway or external patio doors, and has terraced gardens, and a detached single garage to the rear.
Purchasers, James and Katie Davis, were brought up in the guest house environment, as their parents have owned the York House Hotel in Leamington Spa for over 20 years. Both have helped in the day-to-day running of their parents’ business and Katie has also completed a BTEC course in Travel and Tourism. Their brother also owns the Avon Guest House in Warwick.
David Ward, from Christie Finance, commented; “James and Katie are fully aware of the hard work and dedication needed to make the business a success and this is a chance for them to develop an existing family guest house with a superb local reputation. Encouraging the bank to recognise the true potential of the business, with James and Katie at the helm, was the key to the successful financing of the guest house.”
