Christie Finance provides finance for the purchase of a Perthshire country inn and restaurant
A country inn and restaurant, situated in a beautiful part of Perthshire, has just changed hands, with mortgage brokers, Christie Finance, providing the finance for the new owners.
Tormaukin Country Inn and Restaurant is set in an idyllic tranquil location in Glendevon, near Dollar and is within close proximity of the famous Gleneagles Championship golf courses. Originally an 18th Century drovers' inn, the business comprises 12 comfortable en suite bedrooms, a two-bedroom self-catering lodge, a restaurant and a lounge bar.
The new owners, Roger and Beatrice McKie, already own and run a restaurant in Glasgow and a hotel in Tignabruich, which trade under the already successful An Lochan brand, which can be viewed at www.anlochan.co.uk. The couple have purchased the Tormaukin Country Inn and Restaurant to add to their portfolio with their three daughters, two of which are rosette chefs, also helping out in the family business.
