Sue has 25 years’ experience working in financial services. Early on, she worked for a major lending institution before moving to an insurer. She spent 16 years at a building society holding many influential positions, including nine year tenure responsible for the sales and operations of the retail channels. Accountable for the profit and loss of the branch network, contact centre and IFA sales force, she gained considerable experience directing the sale of a broad range of personal and business borrowing, investment and insurance products and services.
Pursuing a strong desire to deliver superior levels of client experience and service, she researched consumer behaviour in financial services, which contributed towards an MBA. After study for the Chartered Institute of Marketing’s E-marketing Award, she joined Christie Finance and Christie Insurance in October 2007.
The brokerage teams at Christie Finance and Christie Insurance have knowledge and expertise within their specialist sectors of retail, care, leisure, hotels, pubs and restaurants. Sue’s ambition for both companies is to utilise this considerable talent to deliver unique client value.

David has been arranging intelligent financial solutions on behalf of a variety of clients for many years. He started his career in accountancy before moving to Christie Finance in 2000. He was fundamental in the development of Christie Finance as the leading business mortgage broker in Scotland. Having previously worked in our Edinburgh, Newcastle and Manchester offices, David now heads up our UK mortgage operation in London.
As a Director of Christie Finance with many years’ experience in the commercial finance markets, David’s advisory services are widely sought-after by first-time buyers and existing business operators alike, for business purchase, expansion or re-finance.

Mark joined Christie Finance at the beginning of 2007 to develop our corporate business through the new Christie Corporate Finance brand. Mark will be working closely with his colleagues in Christie Corporate encompassing all trading sectors to provide a range of innovative funding solutions to meet the specific requirements of our major clients.
He is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers having spent the first 21 years of his career in banking with NatWest where he progressed to senior management level. At the beginning of 2000 he moved to accountancy firm Horwath Clark Whitehall in the North where he developed a successful corporate finance team.
Mark brings with him substantial experience in corporate finance and, in addition to providing senior debt options, he has forged strong relationships with banks and investors alike to be able to act as an intermediary in the provision of equity and mezzanine financing.
